Vaughan

Vaughan is the fifth-largest city in the GTA.

Vaughan is a city in the province of Ontario, Canada, located in the Regional Municipality of York. It is a rapidly growing municipality that has a population of over 330,000 people (as of 2021). Vaughan is considered part of the Greater Toronto Area and is located approximately 25 kilometers north of downtown Toronto.

One of the key attractions in Vaughan is Canada's Wonderland, a popular amusement park that features a wide range of roller coasters, water rides, and other attractions. Other popular attractions include the McMichael Canadian Art Collection, which is a gallery dedicated to showcasing Canadian art, and the Kortright Centre for Conservation, which is a nature reserve and environmental education center.

Vaughan is also known for its excellent shopping, with several large malls and shopping centers in the area, including Vaughan Mills, which is one of the largest malls in Canada.

Vaughan is well-connected to other parts of the GTA by public transportation. The city has its own transit system called Viva, which operates bus rapid transit (BRT) routes.
