CANADIAN WARPLANE HERITAGE MUSEUM

The Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum is located at the John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport in Hamilton, Ontario. The museum has more tah 40 military jets, propeller-driven aircraft and helicopters on display.

Many of the Canadian military aircrafts in the collection are in flying condition. The flying collection performs at air shows and is made available for local flights by museum visitors.

Education Programs:

The Education Programs have been designed with teachers and their students in mind. Using the Ontario Science and Technology Curriculum as a guide, specific programs have been designed for students. All programs use a student centered approach reinforced with many hands on activities. Classes are conducted in an aviation environment with classrooms situated beside or under the Museum's aircraft.

  • Youth (6 – 12) $11
  • Child (5 & under) Free
  • Member - Free
  • AME Association of Ontario Member - Free

Hours :

  • OPEN 9 am to 5 pm - Wednesday to Sunday.
  • CLOSED Monday and Tuesday
  • EXCEPTIONS - OPEN May 22 (Victoria Day), August 7 (Civic Holiday), and September 4 (Labour Day)
  • CLOSED September 21 to 26, 2023 inclusive.
  • CLOSED December 24 at noon to January 2, 2024 inclusive.
