The Canmore Public Library was established in 1971 in the basement of the Roman Catholic Church Hall. The library was moved to a variety of locations during the years and in 1996 moved to it's current location, a renovated liquor store.
Read more »The Canmore Civic Centre is located in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. This 25,000 sq. ft. facility was awarded from the United States Green Building Council. The Canmore municipal officers museum and a geosciences center is located inside the Canmore Civic Center.
