Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site

Baddeck is home to the wonderful Alexander Graham Bell museum. This museum showcases the life and career of Alexander Graham Bell who invented the telephone. Visitors can find the artifacts and documents collected by Dr. Bell and his family during their time in Nova Scotia, is preserved here.

Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site museum exhibits models, replicas, photo displays, artifacts, hi spersonal ligrary collections and films which illustrates the wonderful life and work of Alexander Graham Bell. This site is situated on 10 hectares of land overlooking Baddeck Bay on the Bras d'Or Lakes.

The museum holds some 20 volumes of Bell's unpublished daily thoughts, which covered his ideas for inventions & daily life in the village.
