Eskimo Museum, Manitoba

Address: 242 Laverendrye av, Churchill, MB R0B 0E0, Canada, Phone:+1 204-675-2030

The Eskimo Museum is located on one of the side streets of Churchill. It is an easy walk from just about anywhere in town.

The history, life and times of the Eskimos and the Inuit are told through the art work and the tools used by these native people. There are excellent displays of whale bone, ivory and soap stone carvings.

Beautiful inuit carvings and stuffed arctic animals are displayed. The carvings in this great little Museum are incredible. The Museum also has a gift store. There is no cost to view the museum but a donation can be made. A recorded commentary describes some of the works.
